David Robert Bouffard, 46, of Kernersville, N.C., went to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2013.

A native of Warren, R.I., David was the son of Maurice and Jennie Bouffard. He was employed through Moses Cone and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center as a registered nurse. A veteran of Desert Storm, David served in the United States Army Reserve and the Winston-Salem Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol. He was also an active volunteer and member of the Knights of Columbus.  David will be forever missed and loved by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his wife of 22 years, Liane Bouffard; his son, Nathan Jung Ho Bouffard, and daughter, Mehya Kyung Joo Bouffard, all at home; his sisters, Denise Bouffard of Kernersville and Michelle and Jean Paul Nadeau of Massachusetts; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 3:30 PM Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kernersville, officiated by Father Paul Dechant, O.S.F.S. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the David R. Bouffard Scholarship Fund through any Bank of America location.
