Cycle for the Westport River watershed


Cyclists have a Fathers’ Day, June 15, invitation to bicycle the Westport River watershed.

While at it, they will raise money for the Westport River Watershed Alliance whose mission is to restore and protect the Westport River and its watershed.

The ride begins and ends at Buzzards Bay Brewing, 98 Horseneck Road in Westport. Rides of 8.6 miles, 21 miles and 50 miles cater to all levels and ages of riders on the many scenic roads of the Westport River watershed.

Riders will receive a T-shirt and post-ride lunch of wraps, beer and other beverages. If you register online before June 12 the fee is $40 for WRWA members and $50 for non-members; add $10 if you register later or at check-in.  Children under 16 ride free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Check-in and rides start between 7 and 9 am.  Get more information at
