Constantino da Silva, 83, of Bristol

Constantino da Silva, 83, passed away on May 17, 2018, at home. He was the husband of Marie Teresa (Medeiros) da Silva.   

Born in Capelo, Faial, he was the son of the late Joaquim and Maria (Correia) Silva. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Alan da Silva of Warren, Christine Rodrigues and her husband Anthony of Warren, Daniel da Silva of Warren; grandchildren, Kaitlyn da Silva, Evan Rodrigues and Elle Rodrigues; and siblings, Manuel Silva and his wife Cidalia, Antonette Goulart and her husband Joseph, Beatrice Costa and Jose Silva and his wife Teresa. He was the brother of the late Alvarino Silva.

Mr. da Silva was educated in Portugal and was a foreman for Rico for 30 years before retiring.  

His funeral services will be Friday, May 25, at 10 a.m. from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
