Constance Faris


Constance “Connie” (Levesque) Faris, 61, of Crandall Road, Tiverton, formerly of Fall River, wife of Mark E. Faris, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

A member of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1970, she operated with her husband Second Season Antiques and Refinishing. She was employed by the former US Records and First Federal Savings.

Besides her husband of 40 years, she leaves two daughters, Jessica Faris (Stephen Rocha) and Rachael DuFault (Paul), and grandchildren, Samantha Destremps and Nicholas DuFault, all of Tiverton. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Eva (Simard) Levesque.

Following cremation, her funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 7, at 8 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, Tiverton. Please omit flowers. A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
