Clement W. Lake, 82, Adamsville

Clement W. Lake, Jr. 82, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, in San Antonio, Tex.  He was the son of Clement W. Lake and Helen Lake Borden.  He grew up in Adamsville and graduated from J. F. Wilbur School in Little Compton in 1947.

He enlisted in the US Airforce in 1948 and served honorably until his retirement  after 24 years of service.  He had made his home in Texas since retirement.

Clem leaves his wife, Reba, and four children, Linda, Bruce, Misty, and Jeff as well as nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and two daughters, Brenda and Treena.  Also surviving are his brothers, Robert Lake of Chula Vista, Calif., and Richard Lake and his wife, Simonne, of Charlotte, NC, and seven nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held in San Angelo on Auust. 25.  He will be missed by his family and many friends.
