BID EP11/12 - 22 RFP PROFESSIONAL AUDITING SERVICES

The City of East Providence is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal year ending October 31, 2012 with the option of audit- ing its financial statements for each of the two subsequent years.

The auditors engaged to perform the annual audit of the School District shall also be engaged to report on their tests of compliance with the School UCOA requirements in an agreed-upon proce- dures compliance attestation format.

Specifications are available in the Purchasing Division Office, Room 206, East Providence City Hall, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM Specifications are also available online at www.eastprovidenceri.net.

Sealed proposals will be received in the City Manager’s Office, Room 102, City Hall, 145 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914 until Friday, October 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at which time said bids will be publicly opened. Date/time stamps of 2:01 or later will be rejected. Mark on outside bid envelope the bid title, bid number and date/time of bid opening.

The City reserves the right to reject any/or all companies and to waive any informality in the responses base on what the City deems to be in its best interest.

Individual requesting interpreter services for the hearing-impaired must notify the Division of Purchasing at 401-435-7571, seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the bid opening date.
