Champs at Hasbro

Posted

Thomas Harrington, 10 of Little Compton, poses for a photo with Boston Red Sox mascot Wally and the World Series trophy at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence last Wednesday. Thomas was at Hasbro that day for blood work and radiation treatment for cancer with his grandmother Ginny Allen (who snapped this picture) when they heard a commotion and went to see what was going on. Down the hall they found Wally with the trophy and lots of security and excitement. Thomas is "doing well but going through quite a lot," his mother said. "He's a strong guy, taking it like a champ."  A fifth grader at Wilbur & McMahon Schools, Thomas is the son of Elisabeth Allen Harrington and Linton Harrington.
