Bristol Art Museum's “Cape Ann Visits Bristol” exhibit will open with a champagne reception on Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. Seventy-five artists from the North Shore Art Association will be exhibiting their works “Celebrating New England”.

The North Shore Art Association, in existence for 94 years, has attracted many famous artists throughout the years. Centered in the artistic community of Gloucester, where artists Fitz Henry Lane, Winslow Homer, Childe Hassam, Emile Gruppe, to name a few, were attracted to the beautiful Cape Ann scenery.

Today, the NSAA has over six hundred artist members and associate members with nationally recognized exhibits.

The Bristol Art Museum is honored to have this organization come to Bristol and to share the works of their members with the East Bay; they invite the public to join them for their opening champagne reception or stop by the museum where these magnificent works will be on display until Dec. 17.
