Capcom announces new updates for Dead Rising Mobile on iOS

A new update is now available for Dead Rising Mobile on iOS, which adds Jessica McCarney as a new playable character.

 

Dead Rising Mobile stars Frank West, a freelance photojournalist on the hunt for the scoop of a lifetime. He pursues a juicy lead to the small suburban town of Willamette, only to find that it has been overrun by tons of zombies. He escapes to a local shopping mall thinking it will be a bastion of safety, but it turns into a true struggle of survival as Frank uses anything and everything to fight off the flesh-hungry mob. Jessica McCarney is a rookie agent from the Department of Homeland Security who appears in the game, and is now available as a playable character.

 

Dead Rising Mobile requires iOS 4.1 or better. Supported hardware includes iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3rd generation (32 GB and 64 GB) and iPod Touch 4th generation. The standard price for Dead Rising Mobile is $1.99. To celebrate this week’s release of Dead Rising 2 Off The Record, players can get Dead Rising Mobile for a special promotional price of $0.99 from October 13-17, 2011.

 

Dead Rising 2 Off The Record is now available for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. A reinterpretation of Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2 Off The Record retells the events from the perspective of Frank, the original Dead Rising hero. Introducing the Uranus Zone Amusement Park, Sandbox Mode, and the return of Frank’s camera.
