Bristol's Last Night concert takes place Sunday

The R.I. Philharmonic Orchestra will play its annual concert on Sunday evening to close out Bristol’s musical summer concert season.

The concert takes place Sept. 1 at Independence Park on Thames Street. The evening opens with Avenue A performing at 5 p.m. The Philharmonic Orchestra takes the stage at 6:30.

Concerts on the Common are sponsored, in part, by Full Channel Cable of Warren, which matches dollar-for-dollar all money donated at the

concerts.

In the event of rain, the concert will be postponed to Monday, Sept. 2.
