Bristol scuttles speed bumps
Here's some news straight from the "Finally!" department: Drivers don't have to worry about speed bumps on High Street anymore. Crews spent Thursday morning ripping up two speed bumps that have sat for years in front of the now-vacant Byfield and Reynolds schools. The bumps were put in when the elementary schools were open, but they've been closed for years, negating the need for the suspension-jarring humps.
