Bristol police log: Man claims he was overcharged for food

Monday, Feb. 24
Animal control helped get a duck out of a tank on Plant Avenue.
Rachelle L. Robe, 22, of Derry, N.H., was arrested on charges of vandalism/destruction of property.
Tuesday, Feb. 25
Police cited the owner of a car that was apparently abandoned in a town parking lot on Thames Street.
A Mt. Hope Avenue resident reported a cell phone stolen.
Animal control responded to an Ericsson Lane home for a person who was bitten by a cat.
Wednesday, Feb. 26
Police responded to a home on Poppasquash Road for a report that a suspicious woman had been frequenting the area, looking for someone.
The parents of a 13-year-old girl reported that their daughter had taken off from their Masterson Street home. She later returned.
Thursday, Feb. 27
A caller reported that man on Hope Street was allegedly shooting at geese. The investigation revealed that he was not firing at the geese; he owned a pellet gun and denied firing at wildlife.
Police investigated a 9-1-1 call from St. Elizabeth Manor. It was a problem with the phone line.
A resident filed a report about a mechanic allegedly not fixing his car after paying him.
Friday, Feb. 28
Police were called to a Wood Street apartment to settle a landlord-tenant argument.
A Sousa Street resident called police about a neighbor across the street who was fixing a car.
Saturday, March 1
Frank K. Campo, 53, of 1 Shamrock Court, Bristol, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct.
A Poppasquash Road resident reported that their mail was stolen.
A caller reported seeing three men looking over the side of Mt. Hope Bridge. Police transported them to the bus stop on Ferry Road.
A Pizza Wave customer called police to report that he was possibly overcharged for food.
Sunday, March 2
Alexandra Martian Guzman, 20, of Pennington, N.J., was arrested on charges of DUI first offense, refusal to submit to a chemical test and possessing alcohol underage.
A Shamrock Court resident called police to report that his neighbor's kids were throwing rocks as his sportscar.
Fred Constancia, 56, of 700 Metacom Ave., Bristol, was arrested on charges of domestic assault.
