Bristol parking ban lifted at noon on Friday, no school Bristol-Warren

Bristol police announced that the parking put into effect on Thursday, has been lifted as of noon on Friday, March 8.

The East Bay was spared most of the storm's force and snow accumulation, with areas further north taken the brunt of the storm. Locally, DPW crews were able to manage their snow removal efforts efficiently, and motorists can navigate the roadways using appropriate caution.

Residents who parked their vehicles in lots designated for parking ban use are reminded to move their vehicles as soon as possible.

For students in the Bristol Warren Regional School District, Friday was a scheduled professional development day. Students did not have school, alleviating the concern of bus and other transportation issues. Teachers reported to their assigned professional development schedule as planned.
