Bristol fire retrieves body from Mt. Hope bay

Emergency crews were dispatched to the waters beneath the Mt. Hope bridge on Friday, March 14, after receiving information that a man jumped from the span.

Bristol's Marine One was launched from the Church Street dock at approximately 12:30 p.m. and it's crew recovered the body of a man believed to be approximately 40 years of age.

The man was transported to the hospital.

No further information is available at this time.
