Application for transfer of license to keep for sale and to sell intoxicating beverages, in accordance with the provisions of Title 3 of the General Laws of 1956, of the State of Rhode Island, and all amendments thereof, and additions thereto has been made at this office as follows:

The Town Council will be in session in the Town Hall, Council Chambers, Wednesday evening, October 10, 2012 at 7:00 o’clock PM, at which time and place all persons remonstrating against the granting of the above license are entitled to and will be heard. Said remonstrance must be filed on or before the time of hearing and must be accompanied with a plat. Individuals requesting interpretive services for the hearing impaired must notify the Town Clerk’s office at 253-7000 72 hours in advance of the hearing date. By Order of the Town Council Louis P. A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
