Bristol animal shelter project seeks bidders

Contractor bids to build the Bristol animal shelter will be accepted until 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27 at town hall, 10 Court Street, at which time all bids will be opened. Plans and specifications can be viewed on-line at www.FarrarAssociates.com. Click on the “subcontractor plan room” and enter “letmein” as the password.

Bidders are encouraged to conduct a site visit of the proposed location at Minturn Farm Road, Bristol.

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked, “BRISTOL ANIMAL SHELTER BID.”

The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids of the general bidders and to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept the bid in which in its judgment best serves the interests of the owner.
