Bristol All Stars crush Coventry in game one

Posted

The Bristol 11 and 12-year-old All Stars won their first game in the Little League of America State Championship Saturday.

The team defeated Coventry America, 10-5, in Cranston.

All members of the team contributed to their success. Justing Gervais, the winning pitcher, allowed only three runs in five-and-a-half innings before reaching his maximum pitch count.

Cam Santerre relieved Gervais and completed the last two outs of the game.

The Bristol All Stars face off against the Lincoln All Stars tomorrow, Sunday, at the Cranston West Little League Field Complex.
