Bristol 11-12 year-old All-Stars end state tourney run

CRANSTON—The Bristol All-Stars lost to Cranston Western, 11-2, in the losers bracket final during the 2013 Little

League 11-12 All-Stars State Tournament at Cranston Western on Tuesday night, July 23, ending the district 2 champions historic run to the state tournament. Bristol started off the tournament with a strong victory over Coventry American, 10-5,  on Saturday, July 20, before losing to Lincoln, 11-0, on Sunday, July 21.

Bristol couldn't over come the terrific hitting by Cranston Western's Jake Proccacianti who hit a grand slam in the 3rd to give his team a 10-2 lead.
