Posted

Barrington school officials have decided to postpone or cancel all student activities taking place after 5 p.m. today, March 7, due the nor'easter bearing down on the region.

Barrington Superintendent of Schools Michael Messore made the announcement just before 1 p.m.

According to an official from the Rhode Island Interscholastic League, the second game of the Division II state championship girls' ice hockey will still be played as scheduled, tonight at 6:15 p.m. at Brown University. Barrington High School is playing against Lincoln-Cumberland in the best-of-three series.
