Barrington School Committee names new chairwoman

Bob Shea stepped down as the chairman for the Barrington School Committee at its organizational meeting on Thursday, Dec. 5, and Kate Brody stepped in as the board’s new leader. Ms. Brody had previously served as vice chairwoman.

Ms. Brody happily accepted the new position, stating “I am honored to serve in this role.”

Fellow committee members congratulated her on the position and one in particular, Scott Fuller, said he was hopeful that the re-organization would help the committee move beyond the “mis-steps” of the past.
