Barrington resident reports Old River Road rim heist

An Old River Road resident in Barrington awoke to a disturbing scene on Tuesday, Feb. 25. The 37-year-old resident discovered someone had stolen the four 20-inch tires and rims off his 2010 Toyota Venza.

The resident quickly called police to report the crime. He told officers that the nuts for all four rims had been left behind. The car remained propped up on bricks.

Police are looking for any information regarding this investigation. People can contact the Barrington police at 437-3930.
