Police say chicken was found on Primrose Hill Road

Did you lose your chicken? Barrington police took custody of a chicken that was found running loose on town property near 11 Primrose Hill Road on Wednesday, Aug. 16.

Police believe it is a Plymouth Rock chicken. Barrington Police Animal Control Officer Patti Watson said the chicken appeared to be quite thin when it was discovered.

Police are asking that the rightful owner of the chicken call the police station at 437-3930.
