Barrington police investigate dog attack at Haines Park

Posted

A Tiverton woman contacted Barrington police at 9:19 a.m. after her dog was attacked by another dog at the Haines Park dog park on Tuesday, Oct. 9.

The woman said her terrier was attacked by either a bulldog or a pit bull, though she was so upset by the incident that she did not get any information on the animal or its owner.

The woman reportedly brought her dog to an animal hospital to be examined. It was unclear what injuries the dog may have received; the dog was up-to-date on its vaccinations.

Anyone with any information about this incident can call police at 437-3930.
