Barrington Invitation to Bid: Bay Spring Community Center improvements

INVITATION TO BID: BAY SPRING COMMUNITY CENTER IMPROVEMENTS TOWN OF BARRINGTON

The Town is soliciting bids for the completion of renovations to the Bay Spring Community Center, 170 Narragansett Ave. Qualified contractors interested in completing the construction of improvements at the Town-owned building are encouraged to submit. Instructions for preparing Bids are available from the Office of the Town Planner, Town Hall, 283 County Road. Contact: Valerie Carroll at (401) 247-1900 ext 326. Bids are due no later than 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 14, 2012, to be delivered to the Office of the Town Planner. The Town will hold a mandatory pre-bid conference at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2012, at the building. The Town of Barrington reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted pursuant to this request. The Town Hall is accessible to the disabled. A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
