The Barrington High School boys' soccer team has kicked off the regular season with a pair of shutout victories.

After tying Middletown at one goal a piece in the season opening injury fund tournament, the Eagles traveled to Warwick last Friday, handing Hendricken a 3-0 defeat.

More recently, on Tuesday night Sept. 11, the Eagles came up with a 5-0 home victory against Central.

Captain Andrew Jones tallied four saves in goals on the night while scoring began with a pair of unassisted goals, one from junior midfielder CJ Masterson and another from junior midfielder Denali Sexton, who later added an assist on a second half score by senior midfielder Michael Miniati.

Other scoring on the night include single goals from senior midfielder Finton Lalor and senior defender Cam Voigt.

The Eagles remain at home for their next match-up, which is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 14 against fellow 2-0 foe Central Falls.
