Barrington girl and her 'Teddy' finish second at show

Posted

Barrington's Lily Spameni recently won a second place ribbon at the North American Alpaca Show in Springfield, Mass. The show was held on April 6.

Lily competed in the Huacaya Halter, Youth & Adult Obstacle Class. She led her alpaca, Teddy, through six different obstacles while capturing the second place ribbon.

Lily's aunt, Kris Moody, formally from Barrington, owns a farm in Strafford, NH, "Indigo Moon Alpacas." Lily worked with Kris to become comfortable and confident with many animals at the farm.

This was Lily's first alpaca show, but likely will not to be her last.
