The Barrington Committee on Appropriations will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 27 to discuss the municipal capital budget. The meeting will be held at the Barrington Middle School library at 7 p.m.

Feb. 27 meeting to focus on municipal capital budget

The Barrington Committee on Appropriations will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 27 to discuss the municipal capital budget. The meeting will be held at the Barrington Middle School library at 7 p.m. 

The COA will continue to meet each Tuesday evening through April 3.

• Feb. 27 — Municipal capital budget

• March 6 — School budget presentation

• March 13 — Municipal budget presentation

• March 20 — School budget

• March 27 — Municipal budget

• April 3 — Municipal and school budgets

• Monday, April 9 — Municipal and school budgets

• Wednesday, April 11 — Final budget recommendation votes

• April 24 — Budget hearing preparations

• May 1 — Budget hearing preparations

• Wednesday, May 9 — Budget hearing (at BHS)

• Tuesday, May 15 — Budget hearing debrief and action

• Wednesday, May 23 — Financial Town Meeting (at BHS)

All meetings are open to the public and will include an opportunity for public comment. Meeting dates, locations, times and topics could change, so checking the town’s online calendar in advance is recommended.
