Assunta "Susan" Zinni, 90, Warren

Assunta “Susan” Zinni, 90, of Libby Lane, Warren, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Warren Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warren.

Born in Barrington, she was a daughter of the late Nicola and Concetta (DiVirgilio) Zinni and had worked at the Trifari Jewelry Company for more than 15 years before retiring in 1984.

She was a communicant of Holy Angels Church in Barrington and held memberships in the Sacred Heart Society, the Women’s Guild and the St. Anthony Society, all of Holy Angels Church.  She was also a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Bristol.

Ms. Zinni leaves a sister, Anna Perry of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews.  She was a sister of the late Carmen, Louis, Frank and Anthony Zinni, Mary Carusi, Rose Lonardo and Jennie Silva.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Holy Angels Church. Burial followed in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Barrington. Donations may be made to Holy Angels Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington, RI, in her memory. See www.wilbur-romano.com.
