Arthur A. Manuel, 58, of Peckham Place passed away suddenly on June 18 at R.I. Hospital surrounded by his family.

Son of the late Arthur A Manuel III, and the late Annette (Fontaine) DeForest, he is survived by his stepfather, Delbert DeForest.

He was the cherished husband of Mary Beth (Gordon) Manuel for 29 years, loving and adored father to Kevin W. Manuel (Bristol) and Lauren E. Manuel (Franklin). He was brother to Christine (Manuel) Lepore (Marcus), Laura (Manuel) Dutra (Joseph), both of Portsmouth, and stepbrother of the late Wade DeForest.

Arthur was the VP of Operations for Distron Corp. in North Attleboro for 17 years. He enjoyed his career immensely, and in his spare time he enjoyed coaching youth sports. He was the former President of the Bristol Warren Gridiron Club.

He spent his weekends enjoying golf with friends and his vacations cruising with his family. He was also an avid New England Patriots fan.

Calling hours are on Saturday, June 23, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Warren.
