Antonette C. Witt, 87, Warren

Antonette C. Witt, 87 of Warren, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. She was a daughter of the late Mihal and Mary (Hrycaj) Bodrian, and wife of the late Earle M. Witt Sr.
Mrs. Witt worked for R&J Manufacturing. She was a communicant of St Casimir’s Church and belonged to its Holy Rosary Society and St. Casimir’s Society.  She was a member of the Providence chapter of the Orchard Lake Society, the Warren Women’s Democratic Society and Dudek's Bowling League.
She was the loving mother of Earle M. Witt Jr. (Bonnie Dickenson) of Mullica Hill, N.J., Sandra Jannitto (John) of Warren, and Audrey Witt and Judith Isaacson, both of Cranston. She leaves four granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Julia Tidwell of Texas and the late Katherine Wilbour, Anna McNeill, and Joseph, Peter and Frank Bodrian.
Arrangements were with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, where family received friends Thursday, Dec. 20.  Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 21, in St. Jean Baptiste Mission Church, Main Street.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904, or the Orchard Lake Society of Michigan, c/o 3535 Indian Trail, Orchard Lake, MI 48324.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
