Anthony “Tony" Bochichio Jr., 50, Riverside


Anthony “Tony" Bochichio Jr., 50, of Riverside, died unexpectedly on Feb. 7, 2013.  He was the beloved husband of Lori Anne (Martin) Bochichio for 22 loving years.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Anthony and Betty Ann (Dionne) Bochichio and son of Joyce A. (Reed) Bochichio of Riverside, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children; Anthony III, Alyssa, Dylan and Nicholas, three sisters; Jill Igo, Ann Fournier and Lynn Bochichio and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Feb. 14, in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4 to 8 p.m.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside on Friday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Flowers are respectfully omitted.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
