Anna Salamon, 97, Warren


Anna Salamon, 97, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at the Grace Barker Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph A Salamon.

Born in San Pedro, CA., she was the daughter of the late Constantine and Fedora (Nydomsky) Caminsky.

She was a lifelong Warren resident and a 1933 graduate of Warren High School.

Mrs. Salamon worked for the Warren School Department as a secretary to the Superintendent, retiring in 1984. She was a former parishioner of St. Casimir’s Church until its closing.

She is survived by two sons, John F. Salamon and James A. Salamon, both of Warren; and a daughter, Constance A. Small of North Carolina. She was a grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of five. She was predeceased by her son, Joseph M. Salamon, and her brother, George K. Caminsky.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where family will receive friends Friday, March 21, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. A Funeral service follows in the funeral home at 10 a.m. See
