Ann M. (Squillante) Stabile, 68, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013.  She was the wife of the late Daniel Stabile.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Angelina (Vendituoli) Squillante. She was a lifelong resident of the East Bay and a communicant of St. Alexander’s Church in Warren.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Salisbury and her husband Glen; her sisters, Philomena Costa, Rosanna Noonan, Patricia Rawson and Angelina Morris; and her grandchildren, Sophie Nicole and Ethan James Daniel Salisbury.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20, from the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. in St. Alexander’s Cemetery, Vernon Street, Warren. Visiting hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19. See www.wilbur-romano.com.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
