A four-day feast of fun in Portsmouth (photos)

PORTSMOUTH — Power Street was a hopping place place for four straight days as The Portsmouth Portuguese American Citizens Club’s 86th annual Saint Anthony’s Feast delighted festival-goers of all ages.

The annual event, which ran from Thursday to Sunday, featured live entertainment, a midway full of rides and games, Portuguese food and dancing, antique cars, raffles and lots more.

The Procession of Saint Anthony Sunday morning proceeded to St. Anthony’s Church for Mass, after which Portuguese peasant soup was served to all, free of charge, on the club grounds.
