Wayne Cooper, 68, Little Compton

Wayne Cooper, 68, of Little Compton, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016. He was the husband of Christine A. (Rocha) Cooper.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Mattie L. (Smith) and Richard E. Cooper. 

Wayne had worked as a truck driver for Ryan Ironworks. He was an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kevin A. Cooper and Wayne D. Cooper. He also leaves five grandchildren and a brother, Richard E. Cooper (wife Gail).  He was the brother of the late Donald E. Cooper.

A private memorial service will be held.  Arrangements are with the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd., Tiverton.
