Warren police logs: Two face DUI charges

Monday, June 13
Police were called to Market Street for a disobedient child.
A Child Street resident called police after a bird flew into her apartment.
A Market Street man told police that his niece was being unruly.
A caller reported that two men were attempting to launch a boat into the Kickemuit Reservoir. Police came out and told them to leave.
Someone complained about a man yelling obscenities on Bowen Street.
Tuesday, June 14
Items were reported stolen from a car on Frank Court.
A Barker Avenue resident called police after receiving harassing text messages.
A Child Street man called for police after getting into a fight with his girlfriend.
Wednesday, June 15
A panhandler was reported in front of a Main Street business.
Police advised a Barney Street resident how to block an annoying telemarketer.
Police were called to disperse a lemonade vendor on Water Street, but learned the vendor was only there for a photo shoot and wasn’t selling.
Two tenants in a Wood Street apartment building got into a fight, and the police were called.
Marine rescue crews were dispatched to Warwick Light to assist with an 11’ boat taking on water.
An attempted breaking and entering was reported on Park Street.
Thursday, June 16
A woman called police to report striking a deer the previous night at Main and Thompson streets.
A business owner on Main Street reported finding trash in his mailbox. In addition, someone had tampered with his sign.
A Water Street woman called to report that her dog might have killed a mother bird who was nesting young in a nest in her back yard.
A Davis Street man reported the theft of his bike. However, police determined that the bike had been borrowed, and it was returned.
Someone complained of motorcycles speeding through the Barden Lane neighborhood.
Friday, June 17
A Main Street resident called police just before 3 a.m. to report that a woman was out in the hallway banging on doors. She was transported to detox.
A Park Street woman told police that her son was being harassed.
A Church Street resident called police to report finding a kitten in the back yard.
Someone reported finding a small “fish cat” on Main Street. It may have been a fisher cat, as the building owner was advised to leave it alone.
Kenneth F. Camadeco, 61, of 28 Davis St., second floor, was charged with trespassing after an employee at a Main Street business called police.
A caller told police that the occupant of a car traveling on Child Street threw a glass bottle out of the window.
A man was reported yelling at Davis and Water streets.
Someone saw a black ferret “walking on sidewalk” along Water and Baker streets.
Loud music calls came in from Market Street just after 11 p.m.
Saturday, June 18
A suspicious man was reported on Market Street just before 5 a.m. It turned out to be a person conducting a wild bird survey for the University of Rhode Island.
Fire volunteers retrieved a kayak that was first reported adrift in the Warren River, just south of the bridge. The empty kayak was spotted heading south and was secured when it washed up further downriver; it was turned over to the harbormaster.
A loud music call came in from Federal Street just after 7 p.m.
Biosson Florence Die, 32, of Central Falls, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after police pulled her over on Metacom Avenue at 9:20 p.m.
A Water Street woman told police that her neighbor shoved her.
Sunday, June 19
A Metacom Avenue business owner complained that someone dumped a mattress behind his business.
A barking dog call came in from Main Street at 6 p.m.
Lisa R. Lannan, 55, of Rochester, Ma., was charged with driving under the influence of dugs or alcohol, BAC .15 or greater, after she was pulled over on Metacom Avenue.
Police assisted a Croade Street woman who’d locked herself out of her apartment.
A Union Street woman asked for a rescue to help with an intoxicated relative.
Monday, June 20
A Warren Avenue woman reported being harassed.
