Police got a call about a Union Street woman locked out of her home. They notified the landlord and went down to help.

A customer CVS customer’s keys were accidentally taken by another customer. Police drove the keyless shopper home.

A pedestrian found a bank card and flagged down an officer on Franklin Street. The card was returned soon thereafter.

A Vernon Street man told police that someone tampered with a package delivered to his home.

Wednesday, April 27

Marvin C. Orange Jr., 33, of Providence, was arrested on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant after police pulled him over on Main Street just after midnight.

Police got a call about a car speeding down Maple Road.

Someone called police, concerned that cars in a funeral procession were going through a red light at Main and Campbell streets.

Police got a call about a man and woman arguing on Brady Street.

A possible drunk driver was reported on Main Street. It came to nothing.

Thursday, April 28

Someone vandalized a mailbox on Connolly Avenue.

A Child Street resident complained that a neighbor’s chickens had wandered into his yard.

A checkbook and loose change were reported stolen from a car on Market Street.

A man on Market Street was spotted shoveling mulch into his truck. The pile of mulch wasn’t his, so he was advised to un-shovel it.

Friday, April 29

A Wood Street man told police that his wife would not give him the proper key to unlock the bedroom door. No word if he lived in a red house over yonder.

Police were called to Croade Street for a landlord/tenant issue.

A Wood Street woman reported an ongoing speeding problem in the area.

Saturday, April 30

Mark Konikowski, 61, of 162 Market St., was picked up on a bench warrant issued by Sixth Division District Court in Providence.

An ongoing neighborhood dispute drew police to Detroit Avenue.

Police were asked to disperse a man loitering on Main Street.

The fire department put out a brush/bushes fire on Market Street.

A woman found a bank card and turned it in to Warren police.

A caller complained that a car driving on Main Street had an unsecured child in the backseat. Dispatch advised all units to look for the car.

Sunday, May 1

Johnnie Lowell, 51, of Wood River Junction, was charged with driving under the influence (BAC .1 to .15) after police pulled him over on Kickemuit Road at 1:11 a.m.

Someone slashed a tire on Church Street.

A Union Street man told police that someone broke into his apartment about five days earlier.

A husband/wife dispute drew police to Bridge Street.

Christopher A. Durand, 41, of 20 Union St., was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, after police were called to his home for a fight between a man and woman.
