Monday, Sept. 12

Someone complained that a Davis Street resident leaned an old mattress and box spring against a fence.

Police were called to Crescent Street for a family dispute over property.

Christopher J. Meagher, 24, of East Providence, was pulled over on Market Street and arrested on a bench warrant issued by Sixth Division District Court in Providence.

A Third Street resident reported being harassed by a neighbor.

A caller complained that three men on Brady Street, near Child, were smoking marijuana.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

A caller from Child Street complained that someone had been yelling for more than an hour. Police showed up and talked to the yeller, who was arguing over the telephone. He was advised to quiet down.

Henry J. Barrera, 45, of Providence, was pulled over on Market Street and charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license.

A Child Street resident called police after being bitten by a neighbor’s dog.

Police logged a complaint about a man looking through cars at Water and Main streets.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

Curtis W. Gomes Jr., 21, of Pawtucket, was pulled over on Main Street and charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license.

Police were called to Railroad Avenue for a possible overdose.

A resident complained that approximately eight boys were throwing rocks at a home and cars on Park Street. They fled onto the bike path before police arrived, but police caught up with them on Federal Street.

A young girl asked to speak to police about a cyber harassment incident.

Thursday, Sept. 15

A caller from Market Street called with concerns that a woman he was with was intoxicated.

A Crescent Street man reported larceny.

Someone complained that a group of kids on Market Street were “yelling and being loud.”

A boy, 17, was charged with obstructing a police officer after police got a call about an altercation involving a large group of youths on Park Street. Apparently, the group was “looking to cause a problem” with another youth.

Bristol police turned over Christopher C. Bone, 35, of 24 Child St., Apt. 3. Mr. Bone was arrested on two counts of writing fraudulent checks under $1,000.

Police dispersed a panhandler at Main and Miller streets after getting a complaint.

Friday, Sept. 16

A Sisson Street woman complained that someone stole money from her purse.

Duck Dynasty refugee? A suspicious man described as wearing camo, possibly operating a pickup truck, was reported near Asylum Road.

A Market Street woman reported that someone stole items from her car.

Someone complained that a skateboarder on Water Street was being towed by a dog on a leash. By the time the animal control officer arrived, the pair had made it to Jannitto Field. The ACO “spoke with both parties” and while there is no record of the dog’s response, the ACO reported that the dog didn’t seem to be in any distress. The skateboarder said he was just exercising his pet.

Saturday, Sept. 17

A woman from Taddy Drive called police at 1:48 a.m. to report that her ex-boyfriend showed up at her home. She asked that he be dispersed.

A car parked on Market Street was broken into overnight.

A Hope Street man complained that a neighbor was using his driveway.

Police went to Libby Lane for a tenant dispute at Kickemuit Village.

Sunday, Sept. 18

A Meadow Court resident complained that a neighbor cutting down tree limbs was putting them on his property.

Yousef A. Alawan, 22, of Warwick was pulled over on Metacom Avenue and charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license.

Police were called to Union Street just before 7 p.m. for a drunken man causing problems.

Jessica Hayhurst, 38, of 12 Hope St., was charged with disorderly conduct after police were called to Hope Street at 10:09 p.m. for a report of “parents fighting.”

Monday, Sept. 19

Rescue was called to Haile Street at 12:44 a.m. for an intoxicated woman.
