Warren police: Woman charged with second DUI after accident

Monday, Nov. 21

A woman on Arlington Avenue asked for a police escort while picking up items for her children.

A car and ATV on Laurel Lane were damaged when a tree fell on them overnight.

A resident drove off from the transfer station without paying his $14.30 bill. Police spoke to the man, who said he’d return and make good.

Steven C. Lopes, 41, of 350 Main St., third floor, was charged with misdemeanor receiving stolen goods.

Police referred a report of rifle shots in the woods near Privet Drive to to the DEM after investigating.

Tuesday, Nov. 22

A Metacom Avenue man told police that someone broke into his home while he was away on vacation.

A Main Street man complained that his girlfriend’s ex-husband was outside his home, yelling at him.

Police got a call about a drunk man walking along Market Street just before 9 p.m.

A caller reported a possible drunk driver on Main Street.

Police dispersed a panhandler on Miller Street.

A caller at Main and Liberty streets reported a disorderly man.

Wednesday, Nov. 23

A caller reported seeing an odd man at the bus stop at Water and Main streets. He was wearing all black except for his red skull mask.

A woman from Market Street reported begin harassed/stalked.

Police got a call about an unwanted person at a Market Street establishment.

Deborah Ann Lepore, 55, of 37 Warren Ave., first floor, was charged with domestic assault against a person over age 60, and domestic disorderly conduct, after she got into a fight with her mother.

Police got a call about two drunk individuals standing along Arlington Avenue.

Someone reported vandalism on Warren Avenue.

Thursday, Nov. 24

Michael P. Lake, 38, of Rumford, was picked up on a Rhode Island Superior Court warrant in relation to forgery/counterfeiting and conspiracy charges filed by Warren police in 2013.

A caller from Buffalo Avenue complained that her neighbor’s dog was loose and running through her yard.

A caller from Wood Street reported being harassed by a downstairs neighbor.

A caller complained that a car on Market Street was “tearing up the grass.” Police determined the car was not on the grass.

A loud music call came in from Long Lane.

An Ellis Avenue resident complained that a man was “suspiciously pacing” in front of his home.

Friday, Nov. 25

Police were asked to check on the health of a heavily intoxicated person on Greene Street.

Saturday, Nov. 26

Police dispersed a man panhandling at Water and Liberty streets.

Police stopped a man reported driving at a high rate of speed out of the Touisset neighborhood.

An Asylum Road man told police that his brother had threatened him over the phone.

A Child Street man complained that someone posted his personal information on a Facebook page.

A woman from Water Street called police to report harassment, saying that she had several missed calls on her phone.

Sunday, Nov. 27

A Market Street woman called police and asked them to remove her boyfriend.

A Wood Street woman complained that her estranged husband was harassing her and her daughter. Police contacted the man, who referred them to his lawyer.

A woman asked if police could do anything about her husband, who took the couple’s jointly owned car to Bristol after a minor disagreement. Since the car is co-owned, officers said, they could not.

A caller reported that her boyfriend was being abused by his father. Police contacted the father and son and learned they’d had an argument over grades.

A Main Street resident reported receiving harassing text messages.

Victoria A. Kenna, 51, of 5 Milwaukee Ave., was charged with driving under the influence of liquor or drugs, second offense within five years, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after she was involved n an accident at Child Street and Milwaukee Avenue at 6:06 p.m.

A caller from Munro Avenue told police that her mother-in-law broke in and was harassing her. Police determined that the woman had been invited in by the son. She was dispersed.
