Minors
A’s 9, Angels 4

Hank Francis pitched three strong innings, striking out six, and on the offensive side added two singles and drove in a run. Landon Francis pitched two innings, racking up four strikeouts. He also added a double and scored three runs. Nick Patalano had a single and two RBIs. Gavin Akervik singled, drove in two and scored three runs. Tucker DeWolf had a single and a run scored. Alex Mancieri and Bianca Chavez had stellar pitching performances for the Angels.
Nationals 6, Blue Jays 2
Otto Kallfelz pitched five innings, allowing just one hit while striking out seven to lead the Nationals to a close victory.  George Piper led the offense with two hits. For the Blue Jays, Mateo Lopes and Ben Peters each had a hit. Mason Furtado added two hits and played great defense.
Nationals 14, Marlins 7
Matt Ahrendt pitched three strong innings while striking out seven. He also added a double and a triple. Riley Boughton and Kyle Pavoa added hits, while Nathaneal Bagg reached base three times.
For the Marlins, Shawn Zimmerman hit a three-run triple.  Michael Lombardi added two hits and pitched well.
Nationals 12, A’s 5
Riley Boughton led the Nationals’ offense with three hits, including a three-bagger. Jameson Canario added three hits, George Piper two hits and Jack Greer added a single. Matt Ahrendt did a nice job behind the plate, catching the entire game.
For the A’s, Will Francis got his first hit of the season. Josh Vitullo struck out 10 batters and Landon Francis struck out six in a strong pitching peformance
Marlins 11, Blue Jays 2
The Marlins got a great pitching performance from Brennan Perry and James Thibaudeau. Aydin Schifino and Mike Lombardi reached base three times. Trinity Dennis played a great first base, and Mateo Lopes added a hit for the Blue Jays.
Blue Jays 18, Angels 8
The Blue Jays offense was led by Gavin Siembab with three hits and two RBIs. Ben Peters added two hits and two RBIs. Mateo Lopes also had 2 RBI, while Dillon Luther added a hit and played great defense. The Angels offense was led by Derick Case, who racked up two doubles and a run scored. Brielle Decastro chipped in with a single and a run scored. Cody Joly had a strong defensive game behind the plate.
Majors
Yankees 11, Stateline (East Providence) 3

Nick Gomes pitched five strong innings, striking out 11 for the win. Matt Terceiro and Ryan Hopkins each had two hits and Shayne Bullock had a two bagger to pace the Yankee offense.
Yankees 17, M&M (East Providence) 2
All 11 Yankees in the line-up scored at least a run as the Yankees rolled to a victory in four innings due to the 10-run rule. Gavin Winn whiffed 10 M&M batters in that span while allowing just one hit. Matt Teceiro collected three doubles at the plate, and Logan Justa had a hit and scored twice. With the win, the Yankees move to a 6-1 record.
Red Sox 15, Avenue N (Rumford) 7
The Red Sox faced off against Rumford's Avenue N on April 27. The team entered the game with a perfect 6-0 start to the 2016 season coming off a come from behind victory against Warren's own Yankees on opening day.
Scoring started early for the Red Sox when Shaun Vento hit the first pitch he saw over the left field fence to make it 1-0. Matthew Gale continued the scoring in the second inning when he led off the inning with a solo home run over the left field fence to make it 2-0. The Red Sox added a few more runs in the second, highlighted by a triple off the bat of Faceson Hicks. Riley Furtado kept the long ball parade going when he hit a three-run shot over the right field fence to make the score 7-0 Red Sox. Rumford battled back over the last three innings and the game ended with a final score of 15-7 in favor of the Red Sox, who are now the owners of a 7-0 record.
Andrew Jones and Dayton VanAmberg handled the pitching duties for the Red Sox, combining to strike out 13 Rumford batters while allowing one walk. They also each helped the offense by reaching base three out of four times at the plate. Jeremy Dimeo, Jack McNally, Matthew Coehlo, Caleb DeCastro and Anthony Chavez were all able to reach base during the game and help the Red Sox score 15 runs.
