As Bristol continues to count down to the year’s biggest party, smaller factions nearly every day lead up to the main event July 4.
On Saturday, the Town Common went back in time for the annual Old Fashioned Days, featuring the Vintage Baseball Game. The players, playing within rules from the 19th century, swing wooden bats and wear no gloves. Only the catcher is allowed a glove and a mask.
