Theresa D. “Terri” Meehan, of Barrington and formerly of Bristol, 59, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016.

She was the daughter of the late Gregory and Margaret (Pacheco) Duffy. She is survived by her loving husband James “Jamie” Meehan and her children, Jimmy, Patrick and Erin, daughter-in-law, Liz, her cherub-like granddaughter, Phoebe, and sister, Edith Papitto and her husband Ralph.

A graduate of Bristol High School, she also attended Rhode Island College and Roger Williams University.

A long-time employee of Silver Creek Manor in Bristol, she was their activities director as well as executive assistant and had been an administrative assistant at St. Andrew’s School in Barrington for the last 10 years.

Going through life with a smile and wondrous sense of humor, she always warmed the lives of others and made family her loving priority and accomplishment.

Her funeral service was Tuesday, April 26, from the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke’s Church, 308 Washington Road, Barrington. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol. It was Terri’s wish that any memorial contributions be made in her memory to her BFF, Erin to complete her college education, 484 County Road, Barrington, RI 02806.
