Each week the Personal Injury Law Offices of d’Oliviera & Associates compiles a summary of recalls, FDA warnings, market withdrawals and safety alerts that they feel the public should be aware of for their safety and so that they can make informed decisions.

Here are 25 recalls to be aware this week.

Medical Devices & Equipment

  • Teleflex Medical recalled Naloxone Nasal Atomizers. Teleflex has said there is no problem with the drug itself – but with the delivery system. These products are used for the delivery of topical anesthesia via an atomized spray to the oral, nasal, pharyngeal or laryngeal mucosa. Teleflex Medical is recalling these products as they may produce a straight stream instead of a fullyatomized plume of medication

Auto


  • Mitsubishi Outlanders recalled, model year 2007-2013 with wiper issue - the wiper link may separate, causing the wipers to become inoperative.

  • Mazda recalled Mazda6 vehicles, model year 2017- turn signals may not automatically cancel by the rotation of the steering wheel. These vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

  • Kia Sorentos with seatback issues recalled - the seatback may not function as designed in the event of. a rear-end collision.

Motorcycle/Scooters/Accessories


  • Ivolution recalled IV2 JX-SKY 3/4 open face motorcycle helmets - the Mohawk feature of the helmet may not detach in the event of a crash

Utility/Recreational Vehicles & Automotive Accessories


  • REV Recreation Group recalled Holiday Rambler Vacationer motorhomes - an electrical short could result in intermittent operation of electrical systems.

  • Newmar recalled Dutch Star and Ventana motorhomes - the slide out box could extend unexpectedly.

  • Jayco recalled Eagle fifth wheel trailers - the vehicles may have an axle of insufficient load capacity.

  • Forest River recalled model year 2017 Dynamax Isata motorhomes - liquid propane could enter the cabin.

  • Forest River recalled model year 2017 Cedar Creek recreational trailers - the weight capacity on the vehicle's axles is listed incorrectly which can potentially result in the driver overloading the vehicle, possibly resulting in a loss of control or reduced braking distance.

  • Cornerstone and Anthem motorhomes recalled (model year 2016-2017_ - the vehicle's are equipped with Tempurpedic Sealy Mattresses that fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

Food, Beverage & Nutritional Supplements

  • Love My Tru Body recalled Skinny Bee Diet capsules - the product contains sibutramine, desmethylsibutramine, and/phenolphthalein. Sibutramine is an appetite suppressant that was withdrawn from the U.S. market in October 2010. Phenolpthalein was previously used in over-the-counter laxatives, but because of concerns of carcinogenicity, it is no longer marketed in the U.S.
  • Water Lilies Food recalled egg rolls - the product contains shrimp, an allergen not declared on the label.
  • Crescent Vending recalled various products (from bagels to potato salad) - the products may contain undeclared allergens (wheat, soy, milk, eggs).
  • Mid-Atlantic region Whole Foods Market Stores recalled chocolate croissants - The product contains eggs, an allergen not declared on the label
  • Agave Dream recalled several flavors of Ice Creams because of possible listeria contamination.
  • ISB Food Group, LLC recalled ice creams - L.A. Creamery Honeycomb Ice Cream and L.A. Creamery Salted Caramel Ice Cream because of possible listeria contamination.
  • SHRI SHIVA Foods Inc. Recalled "MTR Sambar Powder" because of possible salmonella contamination.

Infant & Children Products

Technology/Electronics


  • GoPro recalled all Karma Drones due to loss of power during operation – no injuries have been reported.

Household Products

  • L.D. Kichler recalled ceiling fixtures - bulbs sold with the fixtures burn too hot for the electrical supply wires in the ceiling.

  • Trane recalls various furnaces - an electrical component may fail short and circuit, posing a shock hazard.

Industrial/Corporate/Tools

  • Lithonia Lighting recalls commercial luminaires - the plastic lens on the luminaire can detach and fall unexpectedly.

  • Country Home Products recalled leaf and law vacuums due to fire and burn hazards.

Safety/Security


  • Kidde recalled combination smoke/CO alarms due to product failure.
