PORTSMOUTH — Here are some highlights from the Portsmouth Police reports from over the past week.

Wednesday, June 15

A 17-year-old Portsmouth male was charged at 7:19 p.m. with simple assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest following an incident at Boys Town on Flanagan Road. Police said the juvenile became enraged after an argument over his cell phone — considered contraband at the facility — and lunged toward one employee and swung a fist at another. When police tried to restrain him, he would not comply with commands and flailed his arms and legs, according to police.

A 14-year-old female living at a group on Bristol Ferry Road was charged at 9 p.m. with disorderly conduct after police received a call that two girls had left the property. Police found them in front of the Island Day School further south, with one of them yelling profanities and being retrained by a staff member of the group home, police said.

Thursday, June 16

Devin J. Fowler, 20, of 91 Pequot Lane, Middletown, was charged at 12:24 a.m. with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police said his car was stopped on West Main Road near Melville School because it had left the lane of travel.

Harry Mennem, 21, of London, England, was charged at 4:34 a.m. with disorderly conduct for making loud or disturbing noise. Police were dispatched to a Reposa Square home for a report of a suspicious person being held at gunpoint by an off-duty sheriff. The sheriff said he was awoken by a rattling noise and found Mr. Mennem trying to get into his home, according to police, who said Mr. Mennem had vomit on his clothes, appeared highly intoxicated and did not know where he was. He told police he was staying at a home on Indian Avenue but due to his intoxication, could not find his way back, police said.

Friday, June 17

Owen P. Buckley, 34, of 59 Bliss Road, Apt. 1, Newport, was charged at 12:26 a.m. with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a chemical test. His vehicle was stopped on East Main Road near Foodworks because it was being operated erratically, police said.

Two people were charged around 5:30 p.m. with peddling magazines without a permit — a town ordinance violation — after police received complaints from residents of McIntosh Drive and Franklin Terrace. Police said Glenda G. Terrell, 51, of 1460 Sawyer Road, Raleigh, N.C., and Kamiko Mance, 27, of 2109 Martin Luther King Drive, Elizabeth Town, N.C., were working for Urban Development Solutions of Grosse Point Farms, Michigan. They were each issued a Municipal Court summons

Saturday, June 18

Thomas E. Ross, 23, of 22 Brierwood Road, Braintree, Mass., was charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a chemical test at 2:56 a.m. Police said they stopped his car near the Xtra Mart store on West Main Road because it had left the lane of travel.

Police investigated a report of a domestic disturbance at a Warley Street home around 9:45 p.m. after a caller said loud yelling and noises were coming from next door. When police arrived, they found two men and a woman who appeared to be playing video games. They told police they had been running around the house throwing “small popping fireworks at each other” and celebrating the woman’s birthday. Police determined that no domestic disturbance had taken place, but warned the trio they needed to keep the noise down.

Sunday, June 19

Desiree Oliveira, 43, of 121 Eagle Lane, Somerset, was charged at 12:47 a.m. with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police said they stopped her car on West Main Road near West Main Pizza because it had left the lane of travel.

Monday, June 20

Amy L. Hill, 43, of 418 Park Ave., was charged at 1:50 p.m. with domestic assault following an incident at her home, police said.
