To the editor:
The Times recently published a letter from Mr. Alan Sorrentino, in which he admonished local women for wearing yoga pants. He suggested that women of only a certain age should wear yoga pants in public because of an apparent sensitivity to the human shape. His letter made critical and potentially humiliating comments about women’s sizes and shapes—the very definition of body shaming. I am not sure where Mr. Sorrentino gets the idea that he should dictate what women wear, but his attempt to do so is arrogant and misplaced.
Sincerely,
Seth A. Milman, Esq.
