Letter: Knight never requested to speak with District 67 committee
To the editor:
It has been called to my attention that Rep. Jan Malik’s primary opponent claims he was never afforded an opportunity to speak with the District 67 Committee. In an effort to keep the record straight, I can tell you that Mr. Malik’s opponent never requested from me, or even the two Barrington representatives on the committee, to meet with us. If he had done so, he certainly would have been welcome. During the primary season, I hope we can keep all statements straightforward.
