To the editor:
On Aug. 26, the Mint Gallery hosted a Live Art Auction & Wine Reception at its Hope Street studio to benefit Save The Bay. The event, conceived and coordinated by gallery owner Ethan Tucker and director Barry Lyndsay, was a great success, and all in attendance enjoyed a festive evening while supporting a worthy local cause.
Events of this type, organized and paid for by community partners, play an important role in funding Save The Bay’s public programs and K-12 outreach initiatives, and in promoting the organization’s mission “to protect and improve Narragansett Bay.”
Save The Bay is grateful to Ethan Tucker and Barry Lyndsay for their philanthropic gesture, and we look forward to future collaborations at the Mint Gallery.
