To the editor:
There was a time in my life when I just learned to take it. All the crap, all the pain, all the love, all the realization. All it takes to be wanted, to matter, to be loved. What I’ve experienced of “Us”, woman and man, at our very best and at our very worst has taught me lessons. I’m not saying great ones, but good ones?
There is a point where the acceptance of loss, of defeat, of anything is a given. To me the sooner you except these things the longer you have to ponder them, to enlighten yourself. Maybe change your view. You don’t have to like it but accept it for what it is. Reality.
If you get your ass kicked, in whatever endeavor, the sooner you accept your status as loser, the sooner you can begin to tailor a response. To diminish the loss, regain status, dull the pain.
But you liberals, you conservatives, you followers. Stop watching those idiots in the media, on the internet and listening (and trusting) what those knuckleheads in Washington are going to do or not do. Has it made any difference yet?
Liberals: The do-gooders of society. They’ll save us all like it or not. Make everything good and right but with a perspective that appears to have no basis in reality. Point in fact. There are several American cities that have had more deaths every year from homicides than were killed at Custer’s last stand. Yet they are willing to ignore those indigenous disadvantaged being killed and diminished for more disadvantaged that aren’t even from their city or country. What is that? We have thousands and thousands of people living in deplorable conditions — let’s get more!
Conservatives; The historians, the keepers of that which was or is. Those who tend to believe in basic America. They believe the Constitution should be part of the tenet of our way of life but tend to go a bit overboard. Case in point, The Second aAmendment. I am a gun owner and if I want more I could drive to a gun show in Virginia. I could buy all the guns and conversion kits my little heart desires and bring them back to Rhode Island. In this day and age to allow unfettered access to weapons, of all kinds, is reckless. The AR-15, AK-47, FNs with conversions kits, and) handguns, that I could have purchased are way over the edge. I could have been anyone.
You people and your political nutbaggery have got to learn to “take it”. Your way is not always the way. If you people could actually vote for Trump or Hillary and expect anyone to take you seriously, you’ve lost it. If we as a society can worry about the car, the, kitchen and BMW above Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, you’ve lost it. Approximately 120 people starved to death in the time it took to read this noise. What’s your problem? We got to learn to, “take it”.
