Isabelle M. (Murphy) Griffin, 85, a resident of Warren for almost 30 years, passed away at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 14, 2016. She was the wife of the late John F. Griffin.

Born in Cohasset, MA, she was a daughter of the late William F. and Celeste J. (Callahan) Murphy.

Isabelle was a member of St. Mary’s of the Bay parish. After retiring from Travelers Ins. Co. in Providence, she worked part time at ComSearch in Warren. She also volunteered in the records department at St. Elizabeth Manor in Bristol.

She is survived by her children, David F. Griffin of Ohio, Stephen P. Griffin and his wife Susana of Norwell, MA and Anne L. Griffin and her husband Lacey Martin of Coventry; her sister-in-law, Eleanor Miller of Preston, CT; a nephew, Bill Miller; her nieces, Dorothy and Eleanor Miller; and eight

grandchildren. She was a sister of the late Barbara Murphy.

Funeral services and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made in Isabelle’s name to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, would be appreciated.

Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home in Coventry. See iannottifh.com.
