The Mt. Hope Huskies definitively captured the DII South Title with their victory over Tollgate in a exciting Thursday night match-up.

On senior night at Mt. Hope, the Huskies fought hard against the team that gave them their one loss on the season, in a nail biting three set match. Senior outside hitter Brooke McGreevy contributed 8 kills to lead the Huskie offense, while senior Kaelin Costa-Snedeker racked up 8 digs. Senior co-captain Keiana Rodrigues had 4 kills and 4 digs while her co-captain, senior Alyssa McGreevy, added 5 aces and 19 assists to help with an aggressive offense.

Mt. Hope now waits for the rest of the divisions to finish their regular season to determine the match-ups for the playoffs. As the top ranked team in the DII South, Mt. Hope will host their first playoff match. The date is still to be determined.
